Then, on my way back upstairs from letting the dogs out, I tripped over a box of beads on my foor, and as I sat picking them up, it hit me:
Oh yeah, I make jewelry. Fancy that.
I started about a year and a half ago when I needed Christmas presents that were low on budget but high on love (awwww), and made a bunch of 20 gauge wire earrings with these weird opaque glass beads. They were depressingly simple and they all looked the same. So about four months ago I decided to make some more complicated projects.
A lot of my first necklaces I made for friends, so I don't have pictures of them. However, I am still making projects (I'm trying to experiment with buttons, antique preferably), depending on my time and materials. You see, I lack the patience to finish a drawing yet I can sit on my floor for four hours separating seed beads and putting them on necklace links less than an inch long. Imagine that.
In short, I might be updating more due to my simple realization that jewelry=art. My digital camera's still screwed up though, so if I do update, the pictures will probably suck (stupid flash malfunctioned).
Enjoy!
